Postcards:
Below is the ongoing collection of my postcards.
When I first read the "postcard" assignment all I could think was.....CHEEZZZYYY!
I had to, so I did. When I was making the second one, I decided to stop being such a hater. I like art, photography, and visual things. Perhaps reflecting of the different postcards that I create during the last year of this diploma and the throughout the final inquiry project will end up providing valuable insights.

Post card #1- This is a totally stock image. I like it but looking back...I can't see myself in it at all. I do like the quote and I think I was having a trying week at school. It is a gentle reminded to myself that everyone grows and changes and that I can help mold some of those changes along the way. Even nuts gro up!
Postcard#2
This one was created shortly after I took a group of kids to Kieth's Hut for our first overnighter of the year. I am always amazed at the power of being outside. There were so many good things that cam eout of this trip. Gamers come out of their "caves" and unplug for 48 hours. Oversexualized young girls chill out on the make-up and provocative clothing and are just content to be themselves. I taught kids how to cook on a tiny camping stoves and watched some of the most closed off kids share over the hypnotic campfire. This photo is was taken up in the Tanatalus Range just 1 day after I got back from the school trip. I had the most amazing trip with some great people. This postcard is a personal photo and is a reminder of the infleuence that nature has.

Postcard#3
I am feeling like the list of things that I need to do for school. SFU, and in my personal life is never ending. I sometimes wonder what it would be like to just have a normal job. I served last night and made $200 tip plus another $75 in wages. I miss my my friends in the states. I would have more free time and then I could travel whenever, cook, read, and explore. I really like teaching and I'm good at it. I just sometimes let my mind wander to the what I could be doing instead....like hiking, sking, running, shopping, travel. But I think that would be the case with whatever I was doing? Right

This is my Masters in Educational Practice Postcard Data collection:
Question for Postcard 1:
Cast yourself back to your own life as a K-12 student:
Did you have any particular interests, needs or challenges, and was there a particular teacher (or more than one!) who was able to respond to or was able to meet those interests/needs/challenges?
If you did have such a teacher, describe what that looked like to you, what it felt like, what effect it had on your learning, your sense of yourself, and your life in school.
Why do you think they attended to you in the way(s) they did?

Question for Postcard 2:
Reflect on a ‘galvanizing’ or critical or key moment in your teaching from any point in your teaching career so far, that you feel connects to, or even prompts you in this inquiry.
